EOLA Today

Legal

Terms of service

Effective October 1, 2026

These are the rules for using EOLA Today, in plain words. They're written to be read, so please read them.

1. The agreement

These terms cover your use of eola.today and the EOLA Today for Business app (together, “EOLA Today”). By using EOLA Today, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use EOLA Today.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 to make an account, and at least 18 to place an order.
  • Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
  • Give us accurate information, and keep it up to date.
  • You can stop using EOLA Today at any time. To delete your account, email [email protected].

3. The guide

We work to keep listings, hours, menus, prices and events accurate, but things change, and a place or organizer may not tell us in time. Check with the business or organizer before making plans that depend on the details.

4. Orders and delivery

  • Each business sets its own menu and prices. Before you order, we show you the total, including any delivery fee, tax and tip.
  • Your order is a purchase from the business. The business prepares it, and our employee couriers deliver it.
  • A business may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item runs out. You won’t be charged for anything that’s cancelled before it’s made.
  • Items marked as alcohol or otherwise age-restricted require you to be 21 or older and to show valid ID on delivery. Couriers will not hand them over without it.
  • If something is wrong with your order, tell us through the order’s page or by email, and we’ll make it right with you and the business.

Allergens. Diet and allergen labels come from each business. Kitchens handle many ingredients, so we can't promise any dish is free of cross-contact. If you have a serious allergy, ask the business before ordering.

5. What you post

You own what you post on EOLA Today: posts, photos and messages. By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and share it on EOLA Today and in promoting EOLA Today. When you delete something, we stop showing it within a reasonable time.

Don't post or send anything that:

  • is illegal, threatening, harassing or hateful, or invades someone’s privacy
  • is false or misleading, including fake reviews and impersonation
  • uses someone else’s photos, music or other work without permission
  • is spam, or advertises something unrelated to the place or local you’re posting as
  • is sexually explicit, or shows graphic violence

We may hide or remove anything that breaks these rules, and we may suspend accounts that keep breaking them.

6. Businesses and locals

If you manage a business or a local's profile on EOLA Today, you also agree to the following.

  • You're eligible. The business is independently owned in Central Florida, as described on our promise page. Products in a shop's catalog are locally made.
  • Real photos only. Every photo of a dish or product must be a real photo of the actual item, as you make and serve it. AI-generated images, AI edits that change the food (bigger portions, extra toppings, a better-looking plate), stock photos and other businesses' photos are not allowed. Ordinary touch-ups are fine: cropping, brightness, color correction, and a clean background. A menu photo is a promise about what the customer receives. We remove photos that break this rule. Our photo rules
  • Your menu is accurate. You keep prices, ingredients, diets, allergens, stock and hours correct, and you honor the price shown when an order is placed.
  • You handle food safely and legally. You hold the licenses your business needs, and you follow food safety and alcohol laws.
  • Your team follows these terms. You're responsible for the people you invite to your business or profile, and for what they do there. You remove anyone who leaves your team.
  • Delivery partners also agree to the fees and terms we set with them separately. If those terms conflict with these, the separate terms win.

7. Our content

The EOLA Today name, logo, design and writing belong to us. Don't copy them, scrape EOLA Today, or use our name in a way that suggests we endorse you without asking first. Listings and posts belong to the businesses and people who made them.

8. Suspension and ending

We may suspend or close an account, or remove a listing, if it breaks these terms, puts people at risk, or exposes us to legal trouble. When we can, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it. You can stop using EOLA Today at any time.

9. Disclaimers

EOLA Today is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond the ones in these terms. We don't promise that EOLA Today will always be available or free of errors. Businesses, organizers and locals are responsible for their own food, products, events and posts.

10. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.

If your use of EOLA Today or something you post leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Orange County, Florida. Before going to court, please email us first. Most problems can be fixed with a conversation.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as EOLA Today grows. We'll change the date at the top, and we'll give you notice before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using EOLA Today after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
